Garden Grubs

Kids have lots of creative and active fun in the Garden with our professional, enthusiastic educators!

This all-day school holiday program is full of fun and adventures in the Garden. Kids spend the day exploring the garden and connecting with nature!

Tuesday 9 July 2019 – CELEBRATE NAIDOC WEEK
Meet and greet an Aboriginal Educator and listen to dreaming stories and music plus take a guided tour of our native garden and learn about different uses of plants. Make damper, sample native jam, create your own aboriginal craft and calico bag design, games, animal yoga and so much more!
Thursday 11 July – CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Make a Christmas tree and ornaments, make musical instruments and sing Christmas carols! Plant in our cryptogram house and explore the garden. Make a special rocky road Christmas treat, enjoy art, craft, games and enjoy good old fashioned fun in winter sun in the great outdoors.
Friday 12 July 2019 - BUGS & BEASTIES
Look for bugs and beasties as we explore the garden. Dip net in the pond, hunt for minibeasts and meet a garden expert. Get messy creating with clay, plant daisy seeds to take home to grow and relax with animal yoga and meditation. Plus games, outdoor play and so much more!
