Grant Burrell

Senior Horticulturist

Grant is a Senior Horticulturalist at The Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan who specialises into native plants such as Mallee Eucalypts, orchids and health species.

Grant’s appreciation for native plants is a result of growing up in the Lower Blue Mountains and spending time out in the bush. He began his career as a Nursery hand in Yellow Rock before completing his Level 3 Certification in Horticulture at TAFE NSW. He then went on to study Arboriculture in 1993.

He began working at the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan in 1990 as a Horticulturalist Labourer, and progressed to Senior Horticulturalist in 1995.
