School Strike 4 Climate (Friday 20 September 2019)

A School Strike 4 Climate rally is taking place in the Phillip Precinct, Domain on Friday 20 September.  
 
Up to 35,000 attendees are expected between 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm. Attendees are expected to arrive to the Domain via public transport and leave the Domain via Shakespeare Place from 1.30 pm under Police management.
 

Traffic 

Hospital Road

• Closed to vehicles from 11.45 am – 2.00 pm

• Police will provide managed access to Hospital Road stakeholders during this time.

Art Gallery Road

• There is no planned closure of Art Gallery Road.

• During the march to Hyde park (1.30 pm to 2.00 pm) access to Art Gallery Road will be via Saint Marys Road (come up Saint Marys Road from Cowper Wharf).
