Join the Botanic Gardens' Horticulture team for the day and immerse in lush surroundings and the Living Collections.
You and your team will be making a much-needed contribution to conservation research, protecting our plants and our future while tending to Sydney's world-famous green spaces.
Volunteering at the Gardens gives you an insider's perspective. From discovering new plant species to learning gardening basics such as mulching, weeding, composting and planting.
You can contribute your volunteer hours at either of these sites:
The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the second oldest botanic garden globally and convenient to public transport.
The Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan, renowned for its conservation areas and native gardens and home to world-leading plant science facilities.
Your Valued Contribution
