Leave a gift in your will

Bequests are possibly the most personal gift you can give. They enable you to make a lasting tribute to a cause that reflects your interests and passions.

Who we are today is only thanks to past generations who also loved the Garden and left their indelible mark on science, horticulture and education.

The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney was established by Governor Lachlan Macquarie in 1816. Today it is joined by the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah. Together, these Gardens have become places of outstanding horticultural beauty, scientific institutions at the forefront of research and important centres for education.

All gifts, large and small, make a lasting difference to helping protect our plants, their habitats and your beautiful gardens in the future. Your Gardens are a place of lifelong learning in a living, breathing museum spanning two centuries.

By joining the Gardens' Legacy Circle you can enjoy a close relationship with your Gardens while connecting with individuals who share your passion. By leaving a gift in your will today you can be a part of the next chapter of our history.
