Frog Hotels

Try this fun build for your froggy friends.

Frogs like to get both gentle sunlight and shade throughout the day, so try and choose a moist site for your hotel that receives both but is sheltered from full sun as this will dehydrate them. Below is an example you could try or you could design one yourself. Remember it's great to use recycled materials.
Step 1
Gather your materials - a range of pipe sizes, pipe fittings such as elbows (optional), gravel and a water proof pot.
Step 2
Measure your pieces between 20cm-60cm. Note - make them longer if you live in a cane toad area.
Step 3
Cut and sand any rough edges.
Step 4
Cover the hole.
Step 5
Wrangle your pipes.
Step 6
Fill it with stones.
Step 7
Add greater stability by putting some stones inside the pipe too.
Step 8
Pop on the elbows.
Step 9
Fill it with water and place in a shaded moist spot.
