Naming Plants

Imagine not having a name.... that's exactly what happens when a new plant is discovered by science. Someone needs to name it, but how do they choose? 

This online resource assists students in Years K-6 to develop the following scientific skills:

  • scientific inquiry through the process of working scientifically

  • design and production processes in the development of solutions
