How do I record the trees' location?

Using the web reporting page your phone or table will automatically geolocate the position of the tree. If you are on your desktop you will be able to enter the location's GPS coordinates using the web-tool. If this doesn’t work you can record the street address of the property that the hollow is on (or in front of). If it’s in a park, you can record the name of the park and/or its nearest cross street.

An important note about privacy: The data collected will be viewable on our websites mapping display tool. The locations of tree will be offset on the map to obscure people’s address. Your name, or any personal details, will not be publicly accessible.
