Where does the tree need to be?
You can choose a tree(s) with a hollow that is in your backyard, front yard, neighbours yard (with their permission) or street. You can choose a tree(s) with hollows in your local park or even in a local paddock (with permission). If you see wildlife using a hollow in an unusual location please also report your sighting (e.g. within a wall or power pole). You can also choose a tree in the bush or on the edge of the bush. As you will be regularly observing the hollow within your selected tree(s), make sure that it’s a hollow that you are happy to visit weekly and spend up to 10-min watching it.
