Science Safari

Science Safari is an exciting new STEM event for National Science Week.

Your students will experience real-life science on this self-guided, interactive learning experience. Explore the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney to find the six activity stations using the Safari map. At each station, your students will engage in hands-on science experiments and investigations designed and presented by Macquarie University Advanced Science Students.

All the Science Safari activities are based on projects currently being undertaken by Royal Botanic Garden scientists and Macquarie University researchers. Your students will gain insight into fascinating cutting-edge work in biology and the environmental sciences.
