Andre joined the National Herbarium of NSW Collections Management Team in 2016 as Herbarium Support Officer. He is currently the Digitization Project Manager, overseeing the imaging of the 1.4 million specimens in the National Herbarium of NSW in partnership with Picturae.
"I am involved with the maintenance and conservation of the Herbarium collection. On a typical day, my work can range from Integrated Pest Management to helping researchers unlock the secrets within the collection."
His interests lie in the conservation of natural history collections, plant physiology, evolution and genetics.
