Dr Amelia Martyn Yenson

Honorary Associate

My research interests are seed lifespan and germination, with a focus on improving seed quality for conservation storage and utilisation of Australian native plant species. I'm based at the Australian PlantBank at the Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan.

I also coordinate the current revision of the Australian Network for Plant Conservation's guidelines 'Plant Germplasm Conservation in Australia', funded by The Ian Potter Foundation. You can find video content linked to the Germplasm Guidelines on the ANPC YouTube channel
