Research Interests

Based at the Australian PlantBank at Mount Annan, my area of work is the collection of seeds and plant material from across NSW for long term conservation storage, research and horticultural development with a particular focus on threatened species and trees.

Current Projects

Field collecting of seeds for:

  • Global Tree Project (in collaboration with Australian Seedbank Partnership and Millennium Seedbank, Kew)
  • Saving Our Species Programs (in collaboration with Office of Environment and Heritage and NPWS)
  • Ex Situ Collections of Australian Flora Threatened by Phytophthora cinnamomi Project (in collaboration with Australian Seedbank Partnership)
  • NSW threatened species conservation
  • Rainforest Conservation Project
  • Save a Species Walk funded collections
