Seaweeds are some of the most successful organisms found inside the marine littoral zones, with thousands of currently described species.
But what exactly are seaweeds, what makes them so successful in this stressful environment and should we even care? In this talk we dive into these questions to explore seaweed adaptations, science and conservation, using three genera common to Australian shores; Codium, Ecklonia and Laurencia.
