Do you grow the nation’s best tomatoes, or perhaps pride yourself on your home-made tomato sauces, relishes and chutneys? Put your talent to the test and submit your creation to be judged at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney’s award-winning Tomato Festival Sydney.
With fun for the whole family, the Tomato Festival Sydney, returns in 2017 with exciting new additions to the foodie festival that celebrates the humble tomato!
We have three competitions to enter:
The judging panel will include Ashley Hughes, Executive Chef, The Trippas White Group, Alex Elliott-Howery, owner Cornersmith and and Luca Ciano, 2 Michelin Star and award winning chef .
Judges hints are provided for each category with taste, texture, colour being key and of course the ‘wow’ factor. Not only will you win ‘tomato glory’ but there are some great prizes on offer.
Winners announced for all competitions on Sunday 19 February, 3.30 – 4.00 pm in the Festival Village - Cooking & Learning Hub.
