Whether you are a dancing queen who loves a boogie, a relaxed onlooker who enjoys a family picnic, or a gourmet foodie, there is an endless selection of bespoke New Year’s Eve events to choose from this year, with every event ticket purchased going towards the Botanic Gardens’ science, horticulture and conservation work.

1. Gourmet food discovery

Garden Party at The Calyx

Making a return after a two-year hiatus is the Garden Party at The Calyx, which will offer an exclusive wine and dine experience in the heart of the Garden with gourmet food, free flowing drinks and live music for a memorable night of botanic beauty. After feasting on delicious dumplings, canapés and desserts from the open bars, guests will then be escorted down to an exclusive Harbour viewing deck to watch the iconic fireworks display.

Midnight at the Oasis

If you would much rather enjoy a premium three-course dinner in the open garden air surrounding the panoramic Sydney Opera House, then Midnight at the Oasis is the perfect celebratory occasion to welcome 2023 in style, combining feel-good live music and fabulous food.

2. Relaxed picnic pageantry

The all-round crowd pleaser Lawn with the View boasts beautiful energy from the Sydney Opera House as you enjoy a gourmet picnic spread on the lush greenery of Bennelong Lawn for a relaxing yet refined experience.
