Bringing Science into the Garden
For the last two years Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens has been raising funds to support the revitalisation of the newly named PlantClinic in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.
We are proud to announce that with the help and generosity of our members, a staggering $465K has been raised, exceeding our fundraising goal by $40K.
PlantClinic was officially opened on Monday 20th November by Gabrielle Upton, Minister for the Environment and Minister for Local Government. You can now explore the landscape surrounding the laboratory, engage and interact with the new interpretative signage and witness the important plant science happening at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.
Our plant scientists are also thrilled with their new technology that will assist greatly with their vital scientific work. Enabling them to help ensure the safety of Australia’s food crops and native plants.
If you would like to make a donation to PlantClinic, your ongoing support with help fund vital projects in your Botanic Gardens.
