Parthenocissus tricuspidata ‘Boston Ivy’ is a fast-growing, deciduous climber with mostly ovate or three-lobed deep green leaves, turning shades of red in Autumn months. Climbs on tendrils and is commonly used to fully cover walls on facades as it may grow to 9 – 15 metres tall and 1- 3 metres wide. Native to China and Japan, this climber does best in full sun to part shade in well- drained, dry to medium soil. Regular trimming is advised as it can get out of hand when not kept in check.
