Explore Sydney's Royal Botanic Garden at your own pace with The Little Book of Walks.
In celebration of the 200th birthday of the Royal Botanic Garden, the Volunteer Guides designed five self-guided walks especially for visitors who would like to explore the Garden at their leisure.
The Little Book of Walks is a special edition visitor guide featuring the highlights of the Garden, as well as some of its less well-known beauties.
Five themed walks have been developed by guides, Rosemary Roberts and Toni McDowell to showcase our history, world-class science and research facilities, wildlife, public art and plants. Each walk takes between 30 and 60 minutes on average and they are graded easy to moderate.
Volunteer Guides have been leading daily walks for individuals and small family groups in the Garden for over 35 years. They have also developed over 200 themed tours for larger groups or to complement festivals and special events in the Garden.
The Little Book of Walks is a great keepsake of your visit, packed full of iconic images and fascinating facts – pop in and buy a copy at The Calyx when you're here.
