Tacca integrifolia, the White Batflower, is a species of flowering plant in the yam family, Dioscoreaceae, native to tropical and subtropical rainforests of South and Southeast Asia. An understory plant growing in high humidity areas, it is best grown in shade or partial sun, in temperatures between 21˚C to 32˚C. During the growing season (late spring to late summer) the plant will need frequent watering to keep the potting mixture evenly moist, being careful not to allow the soil to get soggy. During the rest period, keep the potting mixture just barely moist until the plant resumes growth in spring.
