Aboriginal Heritage Tours

Join one of the Royal Botanic Garden’s Aboriginal Education Officers and learn about the rich culture of the Cadigal people, the traditional owners of the Sydney city area.

Your Aboriginal Education Officer will share stories and demonstrate how the plants in the Garden were used prior to the arrival of the First Fleet and how some are still used to this day, both traditionally and commercially.

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and depending on what’s in season you’ll also be able to taste some bush foods.

Tours depart from the Information Centre at the Garden Shop every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 10 am. Click here to learn more and book your place.

We would like to acknowledge the Cadigal people of the Eora Nation within Sydney and pay our respect to Elders past, present and future.
