Bach at The Calyx

A series of four free and interactive Sunday afternoon classical music concerts.
The perfect pairing of J.S. Bach and other masterworks in the verdant surrounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens. Join us every second Sunday in June, July, August and September at 3pm to explore a world of musical treasures and floral blooms. Starring artists from Australia's leading classical ensembles including the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Pinchgut Opera, The Marais Project, and the Australian Haydn Ensemble. These matinee concerts are family friendly and have a 40 minute running time. 


The Calyx will be observing strict physical distancing and hygiene measures to protect the health of visitors and staff and minimise the spread of COVID-19.  The Calyx is restricted to 200 people within the venue, entry to this free public event within our inBLOOM exhibition will be on a first come first served basis.

All visitors will be asked to check in using the Service NSW app on arrival. This includes all members of any family groups, including children.
