Join Foundation & Friends to celebrate 40 years of shared vision, passion and tireless dedication that has helped the Gardens to remain among the world’s greatest scientific, educational, horticultural, cultural, and recreational spaces. It’s a great time to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
The 40th anniversary celebrations will include a ceremonial tree planting, speeches and a festive morning tea.
Schedule:
10:30am - Meet at the PlantBank in Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan.
10:45am - Ceremonial tree planting
11:00am - Speeches, morning tea and cake at PlantBank
12:00pm - Opportunity to join a guided walk to learn about Foundation & Friends influence in your Botanic Garden or watch Artisans in the Gardens 21st Film.
12:30pm - Celebration concludes
