Mother’s Day Classic celebrates its 26th anniversary this year and is a nation-wide community event that raises awareness for breast cancer through participation, fun, fitness and health. All proceeds raised through the event go towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation. There will be with food, coffee, entertainment, activations and information on breast cancer research.
The 5 km and 10 km run and walk courses start and finish in the Phillip Precinct, Domain and includes Art Gallery Rd and Mrs Macquaries Rd as well as the following Sydney CBD roadways: Macquarie St, College St, St James Rd and Prince Albert Rd. Runs and Walks commence as follows:
- 5 km Run - 7.00 am
- 10 km Run - 7:45 am
- 5 km ‘Stronger Together’ Walk - 8:30 am
- 5 km & 10 km Walks - 8:32 am
The even site will be open from 6.00 am to 1.00 pm.
