Together with Gunawairra, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is hosting it's annual NAIDOC Week Corporate dinner to support businesses, governments and private sector organisations in enhancing outcomes for First Nations people, cultures and Country.
The spectacular dinner and silent auction will also include a Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and Cultural Performances and discussions on the NAIDOC Week theme of ‘Heal Country’.
The night will include special performances by the renowned singer, actor and writer Ursula Yovich and Indigenous pianist Timothy John Edward Gray. We’ll also be joined by special guest Sean Choolburra, the Godfather of Indigenous Comedy and one of Australia's funniest and most enduring comedians.
All proceeds from the silent auction will go to Gunawirra's new program 'Clinic on Country' and their wonderful charity organisation which aims to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mothers, carers, children, families and communities to break the cycle of hardship. Tickets are tables of 10 only, no individual tickets are available.
