SAT 28 MAY

Orchids are the world’s second largest family of flowering plants, and they have fascinated, entranced and excited people for generations with their beauty and desirability of flowers.

Orchids are the world’s second largest family of flowering plants, and they have fascinated, entranced and excited people for generations with their beauty and desirability of flowers.

Find out who else these flowers attract and learn more about how to grow them with a tour of Orchids in the Royal Botanic Garden’s Nursery by specialist orchid volunteer Peter D’Olier and fellow orchid judge, Jane D’Olier, who also volunteers in the herbarium mounting room.

A delicious morning tea is provided before the walk.
