Propagation Workshop at the Australian Botanic Garden

Join Horticultural Adviser Greg Lamont and Growing Friend Co-Ordinator of ABG Carol Griesser for a morning of top gardening advice and hands-on propagating from our two highly experienced volunteers.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of potting mixes and plant care, and how to prepare cuttings and seeds from a wide range of native plants, exotic garden shrubs and indoor plants. Guests will participate in hands-on propagating with take-home samples.

Terms and Conditions:
Member prices are only available for persons covered by a Foundation & Friends' membership, i.e. one person for an Individual membership, 2 people for a Household membership and 3 people for a Group membership. If you can't attend an event that you've paid for, we need a minimum of three full working days' notice. For all art classes and workshops a cancellation charge of $100 will apply if you cancel your booking and we are unable to fill your space. As our events are fund-raisers for the Gardens, many members who have paid and then can't attend an event can choose to donate their payment. We are very grateful for this as it also reduces administration. We rely on many volunteers to keep the office functioning smoothly. Unlike many organisations, we do not usually charge a booking fee to cover our administration costs.
