Join Down Syndrome NSW in #21YourWay challenge, supporting people with Down syndrome around Australia. #21YourWay is a national campaign hosted by the Down Syndrome Australia Federation.
This is YOUR chance to get involved with our community by committing to do a personal challenge 21 times to celebrate all people with Down syndrome and raise money while having some fun.
You could walk 21kms.
You could eat 21 apples.
You could do 21 drawings.
The choice is yours! People with Down syndrome are unique, and no one should be stereotyped. #21YourWay is about doing things your way. The #21YourWay challenge that you do should reflect who you are, and what you stand for.
Most people have 23 pairs of chromosomes in each of their cells (46 in total). People with Down syndrome have 47 chromosomes in their cells. They have an extra chromosome 21, which is why Down syndrome is also sometimes known as trisomy 21.
You can choose your own challenge or join in with a #21YourWay Ambassador.
