Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail is coming to Sydney!

We invite you to come into the Garden and meet the Hello Koalas.
Bring the whole family and enjoy the bespoke trail curated by Arts and Health Australia Pty Ltd (AHA) and hosted by the Garden. The trail encompasses over 20 one-metre high koala sculptures, hand-painted by Australian artists.

The Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail is a unique award- winning concept, conceived by AHA and centred in Port Macquarie. The Trail aims to promote koala conservation and conservation of other threatened animal and plant species in Australia.

To celebrate its inaugural visit to the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, a number of bespoke sculptures have been created including Governor Lachlan Macquarie, who, in 1816, founded the Garden which has endured to become the oldest botanic garden and oldest scientific institution in the country.

Buzzy Bee, celebrating the role of native bees in our environment and Charlie the Botanic Horticulturalist, named after Charlies Fraser the Garden’s first superintendent and acknowledging the horticulturists who care for our Botanic Gardens.

Make a trip to the Garden during October and November and enjoy this highly engaging cultural experience that will be in Sydney for the first time.
