Aboriginal Bush Food Experience

Experience the world's oldest living culture through bush food tasting and demonstrations

Join our passionate Aboriginal guides to discover how to incorporate native Australian bush foods with everyday ingredients. Use a traditional coolamon to gather seasonal fruits, seeds, berries, native vegetables and plants from around the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney before learning about traditional food preparation methods and tasting your very own bush food infused recipes.

This is a unique opportunity in the heart of Sydney to:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Aboriginal heritage and culture as well as connection to country
  • Use traditional methods to gather and prepare food
  • Learn how to identify seasonal bush food
  • Enjoy tasting bush food inspired recipes
*Important note: A minimum number of 6 bookings is required for this experience to go ahead. If minimum numbers are not reached you will be notified 24 hours prior to your booked session and provided with a refund within 14 days.
