Aboriginal Bush Food Experience

Experience the world's oldest living culture through bush food tasting and demonstrations

Join our passionate Aboriginal guide to discover how to incorporate native Australian bush foods with everyday ingredients. Learn about and gather seasonal fruits, seeds, berries, native vegetables and plants from around the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney before preparing and tasting bush food infused recipes.

This is a unique opportunity in the heart of Sydney to:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Aboriginal heritage and culture as well as connection to country
  • Learn about traditional methods of gathering and preparing food
  • Learn how to identify seasonal bush food
  • Enjoy tasting modern bush food infused recipes
*Important note: A minimum number of 6 bookings is required for this experience to go ahead. If minimum numbers are not reached you will be notified 24 hours prior to your booked session and provided with a refund within 14 days.
