Join us for this exclusive opportunity to hear from Jimmy Turner, Director of Horticultural Management of the Botanic Gardens & Centennial Parklands and Curator Managers, John Siemon, Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and Greg Bourke, Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah.

Jimmy Turner will address the 'Big 7 Ideas' coming to Botanic Gardens, including the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan and the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah.

The talk will be followed by a presentation from John Siemon and Greg Bourke, to hear about their excursion to regional Western Australia to collect rare and endangered plant species. Their aim, to bring back samples to the Botanic Gardens to cultivate and grow in the living collection. They identified countless ‘must haves’ including members of the pea family, the daisies and orchids to collect and planned for future displays and conservation collections.

The evening will include drinks and canapes upon arrival, a two-course sit-down dinner in the stunning surrounds of the Tattersalls Club, Hyde Park.

There will be an artwork auction / raffle to add to the excitement of the evening.

Non-Member’s Price: Available to all customers who are not current membership holders with Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens. For cancellations of less than 10 days: No refunds or transfers. For cancellations of 10 to 30 days prior: Cancellation fee is 50% of event/activity price, capped at a maximum of $100. The remaining amount paid can be used to transfer to another event/activity or refunded. For cancellations of 30 days or more: No cancellation fee applied. The full amount paid can be used to transfer to another event/activity or refunded.
