Join us on a gourmet garden tour of the colonial heritage and cool-climate gardens of the Southern Highlands and beautiful Berry, be guided by your hosts Tim Jackson & Ginny Sadubin, whilst enjoying your luxury Murray's Coach transportation. This four-day itinerary is inclusive of transport, accommodation, park and garden entries and most meals.
Our first stop in Bowral at Retford Park, enjoy the heritage significance of this National Trust Estate with a guided tour and morning tea. Our next stop is to enjoy a rustic lunch at Raw & Wild Market & Café in Bowral. Following lunch, we will tour to heritage listed Oldbury Farm, where we will be hosted by David Newby and Head Gardener Ian Carroll. The group will travel to our accommodation for the evening, Peppers Manor House where a dinner with your new travel companions and guides is included.
After breakfast, board our coach to experience a real treat at Kaya, Wildes Meadow, home of Les & Elaine Musgrave, where horticultural know-how and exceptional garden design come together. From there we proceed to a leisurely organic lunch at Moonacres Kitchen, Robertson. Our coach will then take us to Fitzroy Falls, for free time. You can either sit and enjoy the view or take a leisurely stroll on good walking paths. We then proceed to our accommodation for the duration of our tour, Berry Village Boutique Motel.
After breakfast, visit selected private festival gardens of Berry, where you may enjoy a walk between locations or travel by coach. After our morning gardens tour, you may enjoy free time to browse the antique, art or fashion shopping available in Berry. In the evening, join us for dinner at the famous Silo Restaurant.
We depart the peaceful surrounds of Berry and venture to Gerringong where we will visit Buena Vista Farm for a guided tour and lunch. After lunch we wind our way home to Sydney via the picturesque coastal villages of Thirroul and Austinmer, to take in the scenic Sea Cliff Bridge, as part of the Grand Pacific Drive, returning to Royal Botanic Gardens late afternoon.
