Sustainable Living: Introduction to Foraging

Diego is a wild food advocate based in Sydney, most famous for his offering of urban foraging workshops. Building on the knowledge acquired while growing up on a farm in Italy, Diego introduces people to the ever-present food and medicine plants that surround us. He collaborates extensively with chefs, herbalists, environmentalists and cultural workers promoting new understanding of what the environment has to offer.

In this 1.5 hour talk set in the beautiful surroundings on The Calyx, Diego will share his knowledge and experience and teach you useful tips and tricks to get you started on your foraging journey. He will share a range of live samples and send follow up notes so you can put your learnings in to practice yourself in your back yard and beyond.
