Five Senses at The Calyx: Macro Photography with Canon

In this third event in the "Five Senses at The Calyx" series, we will explore your vision and the art of macro photography.

There is no better subject than the natural world for macro photography enthusiasts, making The Calyx a perfect spot to run this workshop. In this session, run by The Canon Collective, you will have the chance to learn how to compose exciting macro images in natural light within the amazing Plants with Bite display on carnivorous plants. This is an opportunity to get more familiar with your camera, learning macro techniques, depth of field techniques and understanding your metering modes.

The session is aimed at an entry level experience and will prepare you to capture interesting macro photos. Bring your own camera or enjoy using a small selection of Canon camera’s and lenses.]

Recomended Equipment: DSLR, macro lens, memory card and fully charged battery. Limited macro lenses will be available to borrow for the session.
