Rachel Newling - The art of printmaking

This exhibition will feature Rachel’s distinctive & intricate linocuts, engravings and bird drawings.

This is a solo exhibition with over 30 artworks on show in the historic Palm House at The Royal Botanic Gardens, an ideal setting for Rachel’s nature themed works.

The exhibition will feature recently completed artworks and also pieces from her extensive body of work created during her career so far.

Rachel will be at The Palm House for the duration of the exhibition and available for exhibition attendees to talk with about the works on show.

Artist history: Rachel Newling is one of Australia’s leading printmaking artists, having exhibited widely within Australia for many years. Her work is held in public, private & corporate collections both here & overseas. Rachel was born in the UK & attended Art schools in London before moving to Sydney permanently in 1982.

Artist inspiration: The plants, animals & landscape of Australia.
