The Bundeena Maianbar Art Trail is a diverse group of artists that are linked by location, and a common desire to live close to nature. Opening their studios on the first Sunday of every month to offer a glimpse into the working life and creative journey of the artist.
Holding a group exhibition every year with new works specific to a theme, this group of artists work with oil and acrylic on canvas, paper and natural fibres, ceramics, jewellery in resin and precious metals, as well as sculpture.
"Every year we exhibit as a group, as well as participate in solo exhibitions. Some of our artists have been accepted into major competitions like the Archibald, and awarded residencies, etc. And for instance, Jiawei Shen’s works hang in the Portrait Gallery in Canberra, as well as in major museums and galleries in the world."
